Zachary Hayes, CSP, COSS

Zachary Hayes is a safety professional with extensive experience in the oil & gas, industrial construction, and renewable energy construction fields. He has provided his safety expertise on some of the largest construction projects in the world including the Shell Monaca Polyethylene Cracker Plant, Big Plain and Highland Solar Farms, Bayer DICAMBA, and Chevron Joint Venture GORGON projects.
While working in these projects, Zach’s safety management practices helped achieve record low Total Recordable Incident Rates (TRIR) in their respective industrial field and the efforts of his teams have been recognized by senior project leadership as best in industry benchmarks.
Zach received his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health, Safety & Environment from Southeastern Louisiana University and is an active member in the department alumni support program. He is also a active member in numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Safety Professionals, National Safety Council, Board of Certified Safety Professionals and holds industry relevant certifications from those organizations; these include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS), Certified Occupational Safety Manager (COSM), Process Hazard Analysis Facilitator, OSHA 10 General Industry, and OSHA 30 Construction.
Zach is also a veteran of the United States Army Military Police Corps, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and South Korea performing VIP escort, convoy security, and international prisoner transfer missions.
