Joseph Culp, MBA

Joseph Culp is an entrepreneur from the Pittsburgh area who has nearly 20 years’ experience in senior leadership positions in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Petrochemical industries. Joe’s professional career began in the mining industry; starting as a production miner with CONSUL Energy and quickly rising through the ranks to become a Senior Project Manager.

Joseph would then go on to accept a positions with EQT providing critical oversight for operation of EQT facilities in the tri-state area and then DTE energy as Manager of Capital Projects, playing a pivotal role in the acquisition of the Momentum Pipeline.

While performing his duties in the oil & gas pipeline sector, Joseph recognized a significant gap in how the construction and operation of pipeline compressor stations were being performed. This led Joe to co-found and serve as the Director of Operations for Engineered Safety Solutions, a company providing ready-made platform systems for seamless install on pipeline and associated compressor station applications. Engineered Safety Solutions established itself as a leader servicing oil & gas projects in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky when, in early 2021, Joseph sold his stake in the company to an outside firm.

Joseph then accepted a position as the senior project manager at the Shell Pennsylvania Chemical Polyethylene Cracker construction project; driving his scopes of work to be completed in accordance with project needs and controls.

Joseph founded Joco Holdings, LLC with a mission to provide high level construction service solutions to the Industrial, petrochemical, heavy civil, and renewable energy sectors in both the domestic and international markets. In order to achieve this goal, he has tapped talent pools from a diverse subset of disciplines and professional backgrounds.
